In a daring rescue operation, firefighters in Staten Island had to rescue five adventurous boys who got lost in the sewer system of the city. According to reports, the boys crawled into a tunnel and soon lost their way.

The incident took place on Monday evening when the group of boys decided to explore the city's sewer system. However, they soon found themselves disoriented and unable to find their way back out.

Audio released from the 911 call captures the harrowing moments as the boys screamed for help. Several firefighters were dispatched immediately to locate them beneath several manholes.

It was a challenging task for rescuers as they had to navigate through narrow tunnels filled with murky water and sewage. Despite these obstacles, they managed to locate each boy one by one and safely bring them back above ground.

According to officials, all five boys were unharmed but understandably shaken up by their ordeal. Firefighters reminded residents that exploring underground tunnels is not only illegal but also extremely dangerous.

This incident serves as an important reminder of why it is crucial for people not to venture into such areas without proper training or equipment. The heroic efforts of our firefighters should also be applauded for ensuring that all these young lives were saved without any harm done.
