In the latest UFC event, Cory Sandhagen defeated Marlon Vera at the UFC on ESPN 43 held on Saturday night. The match between the two fighters was a closely contested one, but ultimately it was Sandhagen who emerged as the victor.

Robert Winfree of 411MANIA gave a detailed report of the fight, stating that both fighters came out strong in the opening round. However, it was Sandhagen who landed more significant strikes and took control of the match early on.

As the rounds progressed, Vera tried to make a comeback but seemed to struggle against Sandhagen's quick movements and powerful punches. The judges' scorecards showed that all three rounds went in favor of Sandhagen with scores of 30-27.

It was an impressive win for Sandhagen who had suffered a loss against former champion TJ Dillashaw earlier this year. With this victory, he improves his record to 15-3 MMA and is now considered among one of the top contenders for bantamweight title shot.

The post-fight interview saw an emotional Sandhagen thanking his coach and team for their support throughout his training camp. He also made it clear that he wants to challenge either Petr Yan or Aljamain Sterling for title contention next.

Overall, UFC on ESPN 43 proved to be another thrilling event with some outstanding performances from various fighters across different weight categories. Fans can look forward to more action-packed events from UFC in near future!
