Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio is all set to open its doors for the 2023 season on May 6. The park has announced new attractions that are sure to excite visitors.

The most notable addition this year is the new boardwalk, which offers a fresh perspective of Lake Erie and a new way of experiencing Cedar Point. Visitors can take a stroll along the boardwalk and enjoy views of the lake while indulging in their favorite treats from various food stands.

Along with the boardwalk, there's also an exciting new rollercoaster called "The Cyclone." This coaster boasts a unique design that provides riders with an exhilarating experience as they twist and turn through loops at high speeds. According to Cedar Point officials, The Cyclone will be one-of-a-kind in North America.

In addition to these thrilling additions, Cedar Point has also upgraded its Grand Pavilion area. Changes include updated seating arrangements, improved lighting fixtures, and revamped landscaping—all designed to make visitors' experiences more comfortable and enjoyable.

"We're thrilled about our new offerings this season," said Tony Clark, Director of Communications at Cedar Point. "Our team has been working hard behind-the-scenes over the off-season to ensure our guests have unforgettable experiences when they visit."

Cedar Point has implemented extensive health and safety protocols throughout its reopening process due to COVID-19 precautions. All guests must wear masks inside buildings or while queuing up for rides unless actively eating or drinking.

Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online before arriving at the park as it helps reduce contact during check-in procedures.

Overall, Cedar Point's latest additions promise an exciting experience for thrill-seekers looking forward to summer fun after last year's lockdowns.
