As Easter approaches, many families are preparing to celebrate this joyous occasion with egg hunts, baskets full of goodies, and colorful decorations. However, in recent years there has been a growing concern about the environmental impact of these traditions. Fortunately, there are now many earth-friendly options available for those who want to celebrate Easter while also being kind to our planet.

Here are some of the best earth-friendly biodegradable Easter eggs, toys, basket fillers and supplies you can stock up on:

Plastic eggs may be cheap and convenient but they leave a lasting impact on the environment. Instead of using traditional plastic eggs which take hundreds of years to decompose in landfills or oceans you can use biodegradable easter eggs made from materials like cornstarch or paper mache that will completely break down over time.

Many traditional easter basket fillers such as plastic toys contain harmful chemicals that negatively affect both human health and the environment. Luckily eco friendly alternatives exist like wooden toys or plushies made from organic cotton or recycled materials.

Instead of using artificial grasses made from plastics consider natural options like shredded paper or hay which is compostable thereby reducing waste compared to non-biodegradable alternatives.

Wrapping your gifts in recyclable wrapping paper is another way you can reduce waste during the holidays. You could even use alternative gift-wrapping methods such as reusable bags so that items remain organized yet environmentally friendly!

This year's celebration does not have to come at an environmental cost; by incorporating eco-friendly alternatives into your holiday preparations we all become more responsible stewards towards protecting our planet!
