Anne Hathaway's Stylist Makes Hollywood Reporter's Most Powerful List

Anne Hathaway, who rose to fame with her breakout role in 'The Princess Diaries,' has revealed that the movie gave people the wrong impression about her fashion sense. The Academy Award-winning actress stated that she was often associated with the prim and proper style of her on-screen character, Mia Thermopolis, which did not accurately represent her personal fashion choices.

However, Hathaway has since found a new partner in crime when it comes to fashion - Erin Walsh. Walsh, who has been styling Hathaway for several years now, recently made it onto The Hollywood Reporter's prestigious list of the most powerful celebrity stylists for 2023.

The annual list recognizes some of the top stylists in Hollywood who have played an instrumental role in shaping their clients' looks and careers. This year's lineup includes renowned names like Law Roach (who dresses Zendaya), Elizabeth Stewart (who styles Jessica Chastain), and Karla Welch (who works with Justin Bieber).

Walsh made this year's cut after working with several high-profile celebrities besides Anne Hathaway. She also styled Uma Thurman for her appearance at Cannes Film Festival last month where Thurman received rave reviews for her standout looks.

Speaking about Walsh making the list, Anne Hathaway said: "Erin is one of my closest friends and collaborators — I'm not surprised by this news one bit! She understands me better than anyone else when it comes to what I want out of my wardrobe."

Hathway went on to add that working with Erin has allowed her to grow into a more confident version of herself as she experiments with different styles while maintaining a sense of authenticity.

As Hollywood continues its love affair with designer labels and red-carpet glamour, celebrity stylists have become increasingly important players behind-the-scenes. And by featuring on this coveted list alongside other top names within the industry proves Erin Walsh is a force to be reckoned with in the world of fashion.
