Lana Del Rey cruelly trolled over weight: ‘Worse than 9/11’

Pop star Lana Del Rey is the latest celebrity to be targeted by body shamers on social media. In a recent post, the singer shared a picture of herself looking happy and relaxed while out and about with friends. However, instead of receiving compliments or positive comments, she was met with hurtful and derogatory remarks about her weight.

Some trolls even went as far as comparing it to the tragic events of 9/11, which has sparked outrage among fans and supporters of the singer.

The insensitive comments were quickly denounced by many who came to her defense. Fans took to social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram with hashtags like #WeLoveYouLanaDelRey, #StopBodyShaming, and #LDRDoesNotOweUsThinness in support of their favorite artist.

"Lana Del Rey does not owe us thinness," one fan tweeted. "What she owes us is great music that makes us feel something."

Others also pointed out how unfair it was for people to judge someone based on their physical appearance rather than their talent or character.

This isn't the first time that Lana has been subjected to online harassment over her looks. Earlier this year, she spoke out against critics who accused her of having plastic surgery after posting pictures of herself with different makeup styles.

Despite all these negative comments being thrown at her way, it's clear that Del Rey will always have a loyal group of supporters ready to defend her from any form of bullying or hate speech directed towards her - whether it's concerning her music or personal life.
