Hypothetical Poll Shows Trump Leading Deep Republican Primary Field

Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire recently conducted a hypothetical poll to gauge the support of potential candidates for the GOP nomination. The results show that former President Donald J. Trump leads the Republican primary field by double digits, with 42 percent of respondents intending to vote for him.

Following behind Trump are Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (29%) and New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (29%), who are tied for second place. Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley (4%) and anti-woke entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy (3%), both of whom declared their candidacies in February, register lower support.

A national Trafalgar Group poll taken entirely after the indictment found that Trump's support had skyrocketed among Republicans, demonstrating his continued popularity within the party base. Additionally, a hypothetical Democrat primary race was also gauged, where Andrew Yang and Marianne Williamson held two percent of support each while twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton only received one percent of likely voter support.

In another survey conducted by Boston Herald/Opinion Diagnostics, former President Donald Trump holds a 24-point advantage over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in Massachusetts' Republican primary with 45% of likely voters supporting him. The survey was conducted in the two days following a New York grand jury indictment against Mr. Trump on allegations he paid porn star Stormy Daniels $130K in hush money.

Mr.Trump is expected to enter a "not guilty" plea at his arraignment at Manhattan Courthouse scheduled on Tuesday.

Overall these polls suggest that despite legal challenges faced by Mr.Trump, his base remains loyal showing strong support ahead of any potential elections coming up soon!
