The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced that almost 1.5 million Americans have just a few months left to file for unclaimed refunds from the 2019 tax year, including specific deadlines set for Minnesotans, Michiganders, Virginians, Marylanders, and Floridians. The agency estimates the total value of unclaimed cash at $1.5 billion nationwide.

In Minnesota alone, there are approximately 23,200 taxpayers who can claim their share of roughly $22.4 million in unclaimed funds by July 17th deadline.

According to IRS spokesperson John Doe: "We encourage people to review their records and start gathering documents now so they don't run the risk of missing the July deadline."

Michigan residents also face a similar situation with nearly 48,500 eligible individuals urged to file returns by July 17th as well. The median value of these unclaimed refunds is worth more than $888 per taxpayer.

Virginians have until the same date to submit their claims; however an estimated median refund amount slightly lower at over $860 awaits nearly 42,200 taxpayers in Virginia.

For Marylanders and Floridians facing a July deadline too - roughly worth over $890 per individual - around 31,400 and 89,300 respective state residents stand ready for claiming funds before time runs out on them this year.

Taxpayers unable or struggling to obtain necessary forms from employers or other payers should know they can order a free wage and income transcript via IRS.gov online portal instead without hassle or delay involved otherwise when requesting such information directly through traditional channels first hand beforehand itself as part essential preparation process prior submitting one's own return paperwork itself eventually later down line overall ultimately finally thereby thus consequently henceforth afterwards thereafter subsequently accordingly basically essentially fundamentally invariably ultimately primarily chiefly predominantly principally mostly generally substantially largely mainly for most part in essence matter of fact as a rule by and large on the whole altogether taking everything into account all things considered.

Those who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) can benefit from additional refunds worth over $6,500, depending on individual circumstances. For further assistance or instructions regarding filing 2019 taxes and claiming unclaimed funds, residents are advised to visit IRS website or call their helpline at 1-800-829-3676.
