In a shocking and brutal act of violence, a 39-year-old man was repeatedly stabbed at an Upper East Side juice shop on E. 61 Street in New York City. The attacker fled the scene and currently remains at large as police continue their search.

According to Marina Fabela, a co-worker of the victim, the assailant did not utter a word before launching her vicious attack on the unsuspecting customer. "It happened so suddenly," said Ms. Fabela, still shaken by the horrifying incident that unfolded before her eyes. "She didn't say anything – just walked up to him and started stabbing."

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he received 18 stitches for deep lacerations on his head caused by the assault; additionally, nerves were severed in his arm during the altercation. His current condition is stable but shaken from such an unexpected event.

Authorities have yet to identify or apprehend the suspect behind this violent crime and are urging anyone with information relating to this case to come forward immediately. Detective James O'Connor of NYPD's Crime Stoppers Unit stated: "We are asking for any witnesses or individuals who may have seen something suspicious near E. 61 Street around that time frame please contact us."

Members of community expressed fear over having such dangerous individual roaming free within their neighborhood while authorities ramped up efforts in locating them.

"We need everyone's help," stressed Detective O'Connor as he appealed once again for assistance from public: "If you know something about this case or saw someone running away after committing these heinous acts against another person then we urge you – call our anonymous tip line at NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline: 1-800-577-TIPS (8477)."

As investigators work tirelessly gathering evidence related to attack they urge residents remain vigilant ensuring safety those around them until perpetrator is brought justice.
