UFC Fighter Jorge Masvidal Praises Donald Trump at Miami-Dade Arena

Former President Donald Trump made a surprise appearance on Saturday at the Miami-Dade Arena during UFC 287, where he was greeted by huge cheers and chants of "USA." He watched from ringside as UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal retired from mixed martial arts with a loss to Gilbert Burns. In attendance alongside Trump were Mike Tyson, Dana White, who also announced his retirement in a post-fight interview in the ring, and Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis.

The crowd erupted when Trump arrived in the building, with UFC fighter Kevin Holland appearing to speak to the 76-year-old through the cage. The former president's son, Donald Trump Jr., also attended the event and was pictured speaking with his father.

UFC star fighter Jorge Masvidal gave a shout-out toTrump during an interview after his fight: "I just want to thank Mr. Trump for being here tonight," said MasVidal. "It means so much that you're supporting me and all these other incredible athletes."

On Tuesday prior to attending this event, it is worth noting that former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 felony charges related falsifying business records around hush money payments during his 2016 presidential campaign.
